Cleaning your jewellery with natural products.

After a period of time Silver and Gold can lose its shine. This is generally due to soap products. Washing your hands or just having a shower.

Heres a few ways to bring back that sparkling shine with products you should be able to find in your house.

Yep, who would of thought, you don’t even have to make a special trip to buy anything as everyone has toothpaste in the house. Put a little toothpaste on an old toothbrush and use it to gently rub/scrub over your jewellery. Rinse under the tap then polish with a dry cloth. Bingo just like new.

Mmmmm beer, no not to drink its to bring the shine to jewellery. Ive not tried this one but been told its great for gold jewellery. Pour a bit of beer onto a soft cloth and rub  gently over the piece. Use a clean second cloth or towel to dry. Don’t use it on the gemstones though.

Soda Water / Club Soda

You can soak your diamonds, natural stones or in our case your Swarovski Crystals. Simply place the jewellery in a glass full of soda and let them soak overnight. You will find the jewellery will be shining bright again.

Vinegar and Baking Soda

You can use this for all silverware. Including all the non piercing silver jewellery that we sell. Just soak them in a mixture of 1/2 cup white vinegar and 2 tablespoons baking soda for two to three hours. Rinse them under cold water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Have you got any other ideas to clean jewellery let me know.
